How can medical writers differentiate themselves from other people who “like to write and edit?” Mr. Lang will discuss three bodies of evidence: 1) How to apply the evidence from research to your writing; 2) How to critically appraise the literature; and 3) How to collect the evidence documenting your productivity and the value you add as a medical writer and editor.

Writing a scientific publication for submission to a medical journal can be a daunting project. In this session, Dr. Nicosia will review the key steps of the process that every medical writer should know as they prepare high-quality manuscripts.
